Masonry mesh is used as additional joints reinforcement with reinforcement of concrete blocks masonry.

Concrete blocks continue hardening and shrinking after having been laid into a wall. The shrinking process and loads carried by the structures result in internal tension, which could potentially cause cracks in the masonry. To prevent the cracking, it is recommended to use masonry meshes. When lengthening the masonry meshes, an overlap of at least 30 cm is to be considered. At that, it is important that the joints do not line up vertically. For the best structural solution, please consult the designer.
